What My Students Say
Your detailed explanations of the shapes and how to relate them to so many different things are simple to see, understand and apply to sketching. Your modules help one to break down food items and ingredients with greater precision. Youâve presented it so well!

Dear teacher, IÂ would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the recorded lessons you provided. Your lessons had a significant impact on the development of my artistic talent. Thank you for everything you've offered and for being an important part of my artistic journey.

I couldn't be happier. When I started, I had no idea about watercolor. I gradually learned, including the small paintings at the bottom of the recipe cards. Overall, the process was really enjoyable, and I can't wait to start painting the food photographs I take for my clients.Â

Hey there!
Iâm Thanh, a Vietnamese-born watercolor artist. Food is the heart of my work, as I love to explore the flavors, the culture that shapes it, the ingredients, and the way itâs made. Painting food is a way to âpreserveâ all of that on paper, turning a dish into an illustration that you can almost taste.
What started as a hobby during the pandemic slowly grew into something much bigger than I expected. With more time at home, I started sharing my work online and eventually found myself building a creative career and a vibrant community of 133K+ followers on Instagram around something I genuinely enjoy.
Watercolor is my favorite medium for painting food because it can be both light and richly pigmented, subtle and expressive, depending on the techniques you use. I love how naturally it captures the textures and delicate details of food.
